Solid colognes  are simple to use: just rub it with your finger then apply to neck or wrist. It's easier to control the level of fragrance than with a traditional cologne or perfume bottle and lots of people appreciate the minimal, simpler packaging. This is a big hit with the men in my family but i carry one in my purse also .
